Privacy policy

ReviewPulse (reviewpulse-steam.vercel.app) is an analytics tool for Steam games, operated by Abhishek Rathi from Bengaluru, India ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• Account details. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, name and profile picture from Google. When you sign in with an email code we receive your email address. We use these only to identify you and to match you to your subscription.
• Payment details. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Your card or bank details go directly to Dodo Payments and never reach us. We can see your email, subscription status, billing country and payment history in our Dodo Payments account.
• What you search. The Steam games you look up are sent to our servers so we can fetch their public data. We do not link searches to your identity or keep a history of them.
• Technical data. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) for security and troubleshooting.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your personal data.
• We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• We do not access your Google account beyond your basic profile (email, name, picture).

Where your data is kept

We do not run a user database. Your sign-in is kept as a signed token in your own browser's local storage, and your subscription record is kept by Dodo Payments. Your theme choice and recently viewed games are stored only in your browser. Steam data shown in reports comes from public Steam store pages, Steam reviews and SteamSpy.

Service providers

• Vercel, which hosts the site and runs our servers.
• Google, for "Continue with Google" sign-in.
• Dodo Payments, for checkout, billing, tax and receipts.
• Resend, if you sign in with an email code, to deliver that email.

How long we keep it

Sign-in tokens expire after 30 days or when you sign out. Dodo Payments keeps billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Server logs are kept by Vercel for a limited period under its own policy.

Your choices and rights

You can sign out at any time, which removes your sign-in token from your browser. You can cancel your subscription from Manage billing. You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, subject to legal record-keeping duties, by emailing iamabhirathi@gmail.com. You can also remove ReviewPulse's access in your Google Account settings.

Children

ReviewPulse is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
